Dining - Viewing and good times

The setting for our cultural meal night, an umu is set out the back

Our guest dining area is the heart of our operation.  Our people provide breakfast and dinner as part of your booking and also the lunch menu changes daily with options to order.

The view in the dining area is the best we have directly in front of the reef and with shade from the sun and a gentle breeze, the hours slip by while enjoying some surf action and laughs with family and friends.

Menu

Breakfast and dinner form part of your booking with generally fixed options.  Often fresh fish will be available and features on the menu.

The lunch menu is to order and also features simple items like a bowl of fries, chicken and chips, sandwiches and other great food to boost energy levels for that afternoon surf session or adventure.  Drinks including beer are available on request.

A Samoan 'umu' often makes its way onto the menu which is an above-ground oven of hot volcanic stones. The stones are heated in a fire before the food is placed on top, wrapped in banana leaves or coconut fronds, or put into half coconuts. More banana leaves cover the top to seal the 'oven'
